Visit one the most western towns in Arizona. For tourists and locals alike, this is a great place to stay outside the city and experience the beauty of the Sonoran desert. Because of its elevation, Cave Creek is slightly cooler than the rest of the Phoenix area. The town is great for shopping and dining. Visit the brewery and home of chili beer for a relaxing afternoon. Cave Creek has a variety of western shops offering everything from antiques to Native American crafts.
Follow the road up to Carefree and even more scenic vistas, championship golf courses, fine shops and restaurants. There is even a local small craft airport. Ride out to Bartlett Dam and the surrounding areas for some great hiking and archeological ruins.
