Continue your exploration of the Old West with trips to Sierra Vista, Tombstone and Bisbee.
- Visit the OK Corral and see the setting of the most famous gunfight in the west.
- Tour the Tombstone Museum, complete with gallows
- See famous Boot Hill cemetery
- Browse the shops and galleries and the Bird Cage Theater
- In Sierra Vista make a stop at Fort Huachuca, which was home to the African American troops of Buffalo Soldiers
- In Bisbee take the mine tour and learn about the glory days of copper mining
- Enjoy Bisbee's unique ambiance and visit numerous antique stores, art galleries, boutique shops, museums and fine restaurants.
Complete your exploration of the Old West by traveling the back roads to Dragoon and include a stop at the Cochise Stronghold. Here is where the famous Indian chief Cochise hid out while frustrating US troops and raiding the settlements of new pioneers.
In this area you can explore for a day or two and take in:
- The Cochise Strong Hold
- Chiricahua National Monument
- Visit the Amerind Museum, which documents the history of Native American cultures in the area along with displays of Indian baskets and artifacts, as well as an art gallery.
- Visit and enjoy the harvests of local pistachio and organic produce farms.
