Salt River Rafting Trips

Explore the graceful beauty of the Salt River and Salt River Canyon in Spring- time. These one-day to five-day river rafting trips include lunch, all equipment needed on the river, class III - IV rapids, panoramic desert scenery, and exciting memories to last a life time.

APACHE WHITEWATER FULL DAY - On this exhilarating trip you’ll experience thrilling class III and IV whitewater as you raft through the unique entrenched meander of Mule Hoof Bend. You and the crew will navigate many rapids including Maytag Chute, Mother Rock, and the powerful waves of Exhibition Rapid. This is a great opportunity to explore the wonders of the Upper Salt River Canyon while encountering a scenic panorama of limestone cliffs where endangered Southern Bald Eagles make their home. Extraordinary guides, an optional side-canyon hike to a sparkling waterfall, and a delicious all-you-can-eat hot fajita lunch compliment a day of heart pounding whitewater. Departs 10 AM daily and returns by 4 - 5 PM. 10 miles

2-DAY UPPER SALT RIVER - Combines the Apache Whitewater full day trip with the Class III-IV rapids and rock sculptures of Granite Canyon. Pass by the Apache's Sacred Salt Banks, giant saguaro cacti, and ancient Hohokum cliff dwellings. For departure be prepared for a long ride on rugged jeep roads and an uphill hike of 1.5 miles. Class III & IV rapids, travels 20 miles. Includes meals and all river related equipment. Sleeping bags, pads and tents available for small extra fees. Trip departs at 8:30 AM. Minimum age 10. Adult $320, 10-16 $265 - Apache Permit fees: $40

3-DAY SALT RIVER CANYON
- In three days you will travel 46 miles through White Rock, Granite Canyons and continue through the inaccessible Jumpoff Canyon in the Salt River Wilderness. Abundant riverside campsites that are accessible only by raft will be our stop each night. Hear and feel the roar of exciting rapids such as Quartzite Falls, Black Rock, The Maze, and Corkscrew. Multi-day Salt River trips provide an opportunity for total escape. Experience world-class whitewater, fascinating geology, giant Saguaro cactus, Indian ruins, and desert canyons carpeted in Sonoran Desert wildflowers. Class III-IV rapids, travels 33 - 44 miles. Includes meals and all river related equipment. Sleeping bags, pads and tents available for small extra fees. Trip departs at 8:30 AM, minimum age 10. Adult $555, 10-16 $459- Permit fees: $40

5-DAY SALT RIVER CANYON
- The 5 day trip includes the entire ratable upper Salt River Canyon. This is the "Boatman's" Choice trip. Escape civilization as this trip envelops you in the true desert in springtime. Whitewater, giant saguaro cacti, Indian ruins, canyons carpeted in wildflowers and much more. Class III-IV rapids, travels 51 miles. Includes meals and all river related equipment. Sleeping bags, pads and tents available for small extra fees. Trip departs at 8:30 AM, minimum age 10. Adult $869, 10-16 $719 - Permit fees: $40

Scenic Air and "One Day" White Water Rafting Tour

Now the exhilaration of White-water rafting on the Colorado River can be experienced with this Westwind - Hualapai tour as an incredible "One Day" Experience. Depart early in the morning on a narrated, scenic flight from the Phoenix to Peach Springs, the center of the Hualapai Reservation. From Peach Springs transfer by vans with your Native guides down 19 miles of varied landscape to Diamond Creek where you'll begin your White Water experience.

Journey along the Colorado River surrounded by stunning scenery, incredible geology and a timeless sense of peace. Throughout the day enjoy a total of 9 sets of rapids that vary in degree in your motorize pontoon boat, (bring lots of sunscreen and a change of clothes, you are guaranteed to get wet). Part way through, you'll land for an adventure at Travertine Falls where you can rest and relax or hike into this unique waterfall surrounded by unusual rock formations and is partly enclosed in a large grotto. A little later you'll stop for a picnic lunch on a sandy beach area and finally unwind with a smooth-water run down the last stretch before docking at the West Rim. Here you will thrill to an exhilarating helicopter lift back up to the rim of the Canyon where your Aircraft is waiting to bring you back to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. This tour is the perfect way to be immersed in the mystery and beauty of the Grand Canyon and is an experience you'll cherish forever. **No children under 10 years old. Arizona Fishing Adventures

Sonoran Bass Adventure - With eight incredible lakes to choose from, which includes Lake Pleasant, Lake Havasu, Roosevelt Lake, Bartlett Lake, Saguaro Lake, Apache Lake, Alamo Lake and Canyon Lake, and species ranging from Largemouth Bass to Stripers, from Smallmouth Bass to White Bass, there is a fishery perfectly suited for every condition, season, and skill level. If you’re after that trophy fish, then they choose the best location and tactics to specifically target monster bass or stripers. If you just want to have fun and catch a lot of fish, then they will target areas where “Hook Up’s” are more plentiful. If you’re trying to gain understanding and confidence in a new technique, or want to learn how to fish a specific lake or season, they will work with you so you leave with years worth of knowledge. Your all-inclusive adventure will be outfitted with either a fully tournament rigged 21 foot Ranger bass boat or a 24 foot Ranger bay boat (depending on how many people in your party), gas and guide, beverages, G. Loomis rods, Shimano reels, and all the latest tackle and gear fresh off the tournament trails.

The Red Rock Trout Adventure
- You will travel through the beautiful Sedona area, and into Oak Creek Canyon. The area is renowned for its stunning red buttes and monoliths, as well as its surrounding lush forests. Oak Creek canyon is a deep gorge carved out by oak creek, a small, challenging, but rewarding fishery, loaded with big wary brown trout, and some rainbow trout as well. This stream requires stealth and accuracy to be successful, and the savvy angler with precise presentation will reap the streams huge rewards, in terms of brute trout. You will want to make sure you have plenty of film, as the tour will take you from lush stream environments, through the red rock buttes, through the high desert region, and into the ponderosa pine forests, with panoramic views the whole way. This is an adventure you will never forget! This trip is all inclusive. Resort pickup, transportation to and from the river, as well as all licensing, tackle, rods and gear, and snacks and drinks are provided. Duration: Trips are approximately 8 hours. Bass & Striper on the Fly - Fly fishing for bass and stripers on Lake Pleasant is an absolute must for any angler looking for excitement and a challenge unlike any other experience in Arizona. Lake Pleasant's unique clear waters create tremendous fly fishing opportunities for largemouth bass, white bass and striped bass year round. Fish in these fertile waters feed on bait during every season, creating an unusual opportunity for fly anglers to aggressively fish baitfish pattern flies almost daily on one of Arizona's most beautiful waterways. This is a perfect trip for intermediate to advanced anglers, but also makes a great beginners trip as many anglers find learning to cast from a boat easier than in a stream. This is also a great trip to fish one fly angler and one conventional angler together. There's not many places where the two techniques can work together, but out here it's the perfect pairing.

Carp on the Fly Adventure - Carping is a true test of an anglers ability. Carp have incredible vision and one of the keenest senses to their surroundings. Anglers must execute everything perfectly for a Carp to take a fly. Arizona's warm desert climates are the ideal breeding grounds for great Carp fishing excursions. Carping is also a fantastic excursion for beginner salt water anglers. Testing and building your skills against Carp is a great way to prepare for bonefish, snook or any other shallow water flats game fish. Due to the nature and technical aspects in dealing with hooking and landing these fish on a fly rod, this adventure is recommended for intermediate to advanced anglers only. Anglers should have a certain fly fishing base before attempting this adventure. All the gear and equipment needed will be provided. You will not need waders or boots for this trip.

White Mountains Overnight Adventure - The White Mountains are home to the finest trout fishing in the state and have over 1000 miles of fishable shoreline made up of 100 lakes, streams and rivers. This adventure features two full days of fly fishing Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout in remote lakes and mountain streams, or the coveted Apache Trout, which are indigenous only to the waters of Arizona.
This adventure bases out of the White Mountain town Pinetop, which is roughly 4 hours Northeast of Phoenix. Includes all gear and equipment, all permits and private water fees, one night lodging, and breakfast and lunch each day.

Grand Canyon/ Glen Canyon River Float Trip

Air/River Float Combination Tour - Depart from Grand Canyon Airport and take in an aerial view over portions of the Grand Canyon and Glen Canyon. Enjoy the spectacular views of the Canyon and the Mighty Colorado River, Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon Dam. Upon landing you will join a fantastic guided "4 wheel drive" tour to Antelope Canyon. You will board a large, motorized inflatable passenger river raft for a guided 15.5 river-mile float through the most spectacular scenery of Glen Canyon. Over several hours you will float effortlessly on the Mighty Colorado River, which meticulously carved this incredible canyon. What you’ve seen from the air you now experience from the perspective of the canyon bottom! A picnic style box lunch is provided for each guest and can be enjoyed while sitting next to the river. Your Grand Canyon rafting trip ends at the historic Lee’s Ferry, where you will be transported by coaches or vans and back to the Grand Canyon through the high desert of the Navajo Indian Reservation with great views of the Painted Desert and the eastern portion of Grand Canyon National Park.
