Salt River Rafting Trips

Explore the graceful beauty of the Salt River and Salt River Canyon in Spring- time. These one-day to five-day river rafting trips include deli-style lunch, all equipment needed on the river, class III - IV rapids, panoramic desert scenery, and exciting memories to last a life time.

APACHE WHITEWATER FULL DAY - Begins at the Salt River Canyon and runs through the Apache Indian Reservation where you'll find a scenic panorama of geologic process, including Mule Hoof Bend, a unique entrenched meander loop. Optional side canyon hike to a sparkling waterfall. Class III-IV rapids, travels 10 miles. Includes lunch, transportation to and from vehicles, wet suites or rain gear when needed. Departs 10 AM daily and returns by 4 - 5 PM. 10 miles

2-DAY UPPER SALT RIVER - Combines the Apache Whitewater full day trip with the Class III-IV rapids and rock sculptures of Granite Canyon. Pass by the Apache's Sacred Salt Banks, giant saguaro cacti, and ancient Hohokum cliff dwellings. For departure be prepared for a long ride on rugged jeep roads and an uphill hike of 1.5 miles.
Class III & IV rapids, travels 20 miles. Includes meals and all river related equipment. Sleeping bags, pads and tents available for small extra fees. Trip departs at 8:30 AM. Minimum age 10. Adult $325, 10-16 $260 - Apache Permit fees: Mon-Wed $20, Thurs or Sun $25; Fri-Sat $30

3-DAY SALT RIVER CANYON
- Traverses the Salt River Canyon Wilderness. Takes in the Full day trip, Granite Canyon and the dark, wild heart of the Slat River Canyon System including Jump-off Canyon and The Goosenecks. Roar through big rapids like Quartzite Falls, Black Rock the Maze & Corkscrew. Beach front camping.
Class III-IV rapids, travels 33 - 44 miles. Includes meals and all river related equipment. Sleeping bags, pads and tents available for small extra fees. Trip departs at 8:30 AM, minimum age 10.

5-DAY SALT RIVER CANYON
- The 5 day trip includes the entire ratable upper Salt River Canyon. This is the "Boatman's" Choice trip. Escape civilization as this trip envelops you in the true desert in springtime. Whitewater, giant saguaro cacti, Indian ruins, canyons carpeted in wildflowers and much more. Class III-IV rapids, travels 53 miles. Includes meals and all river related equipment. Sleeping bags, pads and tents available for small extra fees. Trip departs at 8:30 AM, minimum age 10.

Glen Canyon Kayak Guides
Enjoy the unique and spectacular scenery of Lake Powell while paddling a light kayak on smooth water offset against the backdrop of the canyons and beaches. Boat supported, Half Day, Full Day and Multi Day Camp outs are available with experienced guides. Enjoy this unique opportunity to experience Lake Powell for yourself. All tours include kayaks and gear. No prior experience necessary.

Half Day Tours - Departs from Wahweap Marina in Page. Take a boat to the canyon, then board your kayak and enjoy the sun, water and fresh air. Trip includes, boat transportation, kayaks, paddling gear, and professional guide. Half day tours available July through October. Total time: 4 hours. Full Day Tours - Departs from Wahweap Marina In Page. Take a boat to the canyon, then board your kayak and enjoy the sun, water and fresh air. Boat Supported Multi-Day Camp out - Challenge and excitement for you, with the convenience of others hauling your gear and setting up camp. Overnight along the waterfront with all the creature comforts and gourmet meals. Trip includes, boat transportation, kayaks, paddling gear, camping equipment, professional guide, and 3 gourmet meals per day. Total time: 3 days/2 nights. Self-contained Kayaking Multi-Day Camp out - This trip was designed for the do-it-yourselfer. Pack it all up in the kayaks and tough it out setting up your own camp and do your own cooking. Trip includes, boat transportation, kayaks, paddling gear, camping equipment, professional guide, and 3 meals per day. Total time: 3 days/2 nights. Price $175 per person/per day, minimum of 4 people required.


Sedona Colorado River Raft Float Tour
You will enjoy incredible scenery and wildlife on this gentle, smooth-water tour on the Colorado River. Your Sedona Colorado River Raft Float Tour starts off with a scenic and narrated ride from the Red Rocks of Sedona, through Oak Creek Canyon (one of the top 10 scenic drives in America), the towering Ponderosa Pines of Flagstaff, and the Navajo Nation. Between Glen Canyons walls that rise over a thousand feet, you float along a gentle stretch of the Colorado River just south of Lake Powell and the mighty Glen Canyon Dam. Sit back and relax as your guide leads you on a breathtaking journey of colorful rock formations, soaring wild life, ancient Indian petroglyphs, folklore and natural and human history. Stop off for an easy hike to get a closer look at the petroglyphs, enjoy your Feast on the Beach, and finish your journey at historic Lees Ferry, complete with cabins of the early settlers. On your return trip to Sedona from your Colorado River Raft Float Tour, you'll pass by the Echo Cliffs and western edge of the Painted Desert as you cross the Navajo Reservation for a stop at the historic Cameron Trading Post. Colorado River White-Water Rafting
Are you ready for a thrill? Take the only one-day Grand Canyon white water rafting trip available from Sedona! Start by traveling through the Red Rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon, the towering Ponderosa Pines of Flagstaff or Historic Williams on your way to the Hualapai Reservation. On your narrated tour, you’ll travel down the only access road through the Grand Canyon, right to the edge of the Colorado River, before boarding a ten-passenger raft with an experienced Indian Guide (The Hualapai have been guiding these tours for over 30 years). During your 5-plus hour journey, you’ll carve your way through the largest canyon in the world. You’ll raft Class II-IV white water rapids, enjoy a light lunch on the banks of the Colorado River, and take a brief nature hike into a secret side canyon to the pristine Travertine Falls. Scenic Air and "One Day" White Water Rafting Tour

Now the exhilaration of White-water rafting on the Colorado River can be experienced with this Westwind - Hualapai tour as an incredible "One Day" Experience. Depart early in the morning on a narrated, scenic flight from the Phoenix to Peach Springs, the center of the Hualapai Reservation. From Peach Springs transfer by vans with your Native guides down 19 miles of varied landscape to Diamond Creek where you'll begin your White Water experience.

Journey along the Colorado River surrounded by stunning scenery, incredible geology and a timeless sense of peace. Throughout the day enjoy a total of 9 sets of rapids that vary in degree in your motorize pontoon boat, (bring lots of sunscreen and a change of clothes, you are guaranteed to get wet). Part way through, you'll land for an adventure at Travertine Falls where you can rest and relax or hike into this unique waterfall surrounded by unusual rock formations and is partly enclosed in a large grotto. A little later you'll stop for a picnic lunch on a sandy beach area and finally unwind with a smooth-water run down the last stretch before docking at the West Rim. Here you will thrill to an exhilarating helicopter lift back up to the rim of the Canyon where your Aircraft is waiting to bring you back to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The Verde River Adventure - An all day adventure to the world renowned Verde River. Travel by Hummer to one of the most exciting and interesting areas of the Sonoran Desert. The Verde River's cool clear waters traverse through the desert's scenic landscape, and makes for one of the most beautiful backdrops you will ever fish. Travel by Hummer is necessary, as access to the river is very limited, and there are several areas where river crossings are not only unavoidable, but also an exhilarating part of the trip. This adventure offers some of the best fishing in Arizona. Wading through the rivers deep pools and cool current provide a year round opportunity for explosive smallmouth and largemouth bass fishing, on both wet flies/streamers and top water presentations. These are some of the healthiest and strongest river fish you will find anywhere, in a part of Arizona you will never forget. This adventure is all inclusive. The Red Rock Trout Adventure - You will travel through the beautiful Sedona area, and into Oak Creek Canyon. The area is renowned for its stunning red buttes and monoliths, as well as its surrounding lush forests. Oak Creek canyon is a deep gorge carved out by oak creek, a small, challenging, but rewarding fishery, loaded with big wary brown trout, and some rainbow trout as well. This stream requires stealth and accuracy to be successful, and the savvy angler with precise presentation will reap the streams huge rewards, in terms of brute trout. You will want to make sure you have plenty of film, as the tour will take you from lush stream environments, through the red rock buttes, through the high desert region, and into the ponderosa pine forests, with panoramic views the whole way. This is an adventure you will never forget! This trip is all inclusive. The Salt River Adventure - The lower Salt River is a tailwater trout fishery located below Saguaro Lake. This beautiful stretch of river carves through the sonoran desert, which provides rugged mountain ranges, and lush vegetation as your backdrop. The river is stocked from fall through spring with rainbow trout. Wading the rivers currents and deep pools will reward you not only with an incredibly scenic way to spend a morning or afternoon, but also with a chance at catching a lot of fish. Most of the trout are in the 8"-14" range, with an occasional carry-over trout of 18"-20". The rivers close proximity to Scottsdale make this an easy trip to fit around most any schedule. This trip is all inclusive. Resort pickup, transportation to and from the river, as well as all licensing, tackle, rods and gear, and snacks and drinks are included. Duration: Trips are approximately 4-5 hours. Start times are 8:00 am and 1:00 pm daily.

The Desert Lake Adventure - Towering cliffs, deep canyons, majestic mountain ranges lined with saguaro cactus, lush vegetation, and abundant wildlife all await the savvy angler wanting to conquer Arizona's waters. Anglers fish for a multiple of species throughout the year. Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, Striped Bass, Rainbow Trout, Tilapia, and Carp all abound in our desert waters. The Cooler season makes for exciting streamer and nymph fishing for Rainbow Trout and GIANT Largemouth Bass. The warmer months bring exciting sight fishing, heart stopping top-water action, and a great chance at a freshwater Grand-Slam! All trips are outfitted with 21-foot bass boats with large front and rear casting decks.

The X-Diamond Ranch Adventure - Nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains of Arizona, in the South Fork Canyon on the Little Colorado River, among tall ponderosa pines and pristine mountain air, you'll find the X Diamond Ranch. Along with the incredible scenery and gorgeous backdrop, you will find some of the finest trout fishing Arizona has to offer.  The X Diamond Ranch has a blue ribbon fly fishery on a portion of the Little Colorado River. The catch and release program and stream improvements have enhanced natural reproduction with mature trout of up to 30 inches!  Limited to only a few anglers a day, the healthy Rainbows and Browns will fill your day with lots of action and excitement!  You'll also want to make sure you have your camera ready.  The trip to the ranch takes you through some incredible forest areas, and Elk, Deer, and Antelope are almost always seen.

Grand Canyon/ Glen Canyon River Float Trip

Air/River Float Combination Tour
Depart from Grand Canyon Airport and take in an aerial view over portions of the Grand Canyon on your way to Page for an afternoon river float. Enjoy views of the Might Colorado River and Lake Powell as well as Glen Canyon Dam before landing at the Page airport. Upon landing you will enjoy either a morning boat cruise on Lake Powell or a guided jeep tour to Antelope Canyon. After the morning tour, you return to the base of Glen Canyon Dam and board large, motorized, inflatable rafts for 15.5 mile float trip through Glen Canyon. The tour ends at Historic Lee’s Ferry where you will meet with transportation to take you back to the Grand Canyon with a detour through the scenic Navajo Reservation and Painted Desert. Tour includes a light breakfast snack and lunch.
