
Verde Canyon Railroad
Ride the historic route from Clarkdale to Perkinsville and back
again. The Verde Canyon is only accessible by rail and features
flora & fauna, rugged high-desert rock faces and spectacular,
panoramic views distinctive to this unique geological area. The
vintage engine decorated with eagles will pull you past towering,
crimson cliffs, ancient Indian ruins, through a 680 foot man-made
tunnel to your stopping point at deserted Perkinsville Ranch. The
route follows the upper Verde River with a lush Riparian habitat.
During summer, special starlight rides also run adding a unique
perspective to the journey.
Ride first class or coach. There is easy access to open-air
viewing cars and narration along the trail. Each season offers
its own unique adventure into the canyon. Excursion trains run
daily except Tuesday and depart from the station at 1 PM and
return at 5 PM, Sunday thru Friday and Saturday at 9 AM,
returning 1 PM and again departing 2:30 PM, returning 6:30 PM.
First Class cars feature
living-room style seating with complimentary appetizers,
beverages and a cash bar. Coach offers Pullman-style seating with
two seats on each side of the center aisle and a snack bar.
Passenger cars are climate-controlled with restrooms and meet ADA
requirements.

Grand Canyon Railway

Ride this classic train
through the wilderness of Northern Arizona to the Grand Canyon.
You can choose to take the train up and back in one day with a
stay over in historic Williams, or inquire about our overnight
packages at the Canyon.
You will board the train starting at 8:00 AM from the charming
1908 depot which includes a railroad museum and gift shop. The
train departs at 9:30AM sharp. Step on board to your designated
car, differentiated by distinct classes of service, and relax as
the train sets off on a 65 mile journey. Travel through pine
forests, high desert plains and small canyons. Strolling
musicians and western characters combine to recreate train travel
as it was at the turn-of-the-century to entertain you. The train
will disembark at the 1910 Grand Canyon Depot at 12:15 PM. You
will then have 3-1/4 hours to visit the awe inspiring Grand
Canyon. Re-board your train for a 3:30 PM sharp departure back to
Williams, arriving at 5:45 PM.
Choose from one of several Classes of Service -
Coach Class - offers travel in a restored 1923 Harriman
coach. Seats are reversible so guests can face each other in
groups of four. Everyone receives a complimentary, keepsake
bottle of Coca Cola.

Club Class - again board a 1923 Harriman coach with
reversible seats. This class allows you the availability of
complimentary coffee and pastries and alcoholic beverage service
from a beautiful mahogany bar.

chair while a well trained staff attends to your every need.
Includes full continental breakfast in the morning and appetizers
and champagne served in the afternoon. Alcoholic beverage service

breakfast, coffee, tea and fresh juice in the morning, with

One Night Railway Getaway - This package includes Coach Class train
travel to and from the Grand Canyon, 1-night in Williams at the Grand
Canyon Railway Hotel located across from the train depot. The Hotel is a three-star
hotel owned and operated by the Railway. It features an indoor pool and
spa, workout room and Spenser's Pub, which has a 19th-century mahogany
bar with a storied history. Enjoy the evening in rustic Williams and be
sure to check out the entertainment to the west of the train depot.

Polar Express Package - This package includes a Polar
Express train trip from Williams, Arizona to the North Pole,
1-night at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel in Williams next to
the train depot, dinner and breakfast for each person at the
Railway's Grand Depot Cafe.
The package is $341 for two adults and two
children on Fridays and Saturdays in November and December 1-24
and 26-30. Tickets for the Polar Express train only are:

Maximize Your Time at Grand Canyon National Park during your 3-hour
layover with one of the following motor coach tours -
Grand Canyon Rim Tours - Adults: $33.50, Child $23.50
The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and is narrated by a knowledgeable
guide. Go where automobiles can't - see amazing vantage points you
otherwise wouldn't. The tours work in conjunction with the train's schedule,
allowing you to get to some of the most recognizable view points along the South
Rim that you wouldn't have time to walk to. See different viewpoints on the tour
and visit the exhibits and historic buildings. Add lunch at Maswik Cafeteria:
