Big Bend Treks
Camel-assisted walking treks in the Big Bend region of West Texas focusing on flora/fauna, history and prehistory. Camels carry all your gear and you will learn to load, unload and work the camels as you travel ranch roads, cattle trails, creek beds and mountain passes. Guests must be able to hike between 5 and 10 miles per day over varied terrain.
On these overnight or 3-day treks you
will travel the same area that the historic U.S. Camel
Corps explored in 1859 and 1860 on the Hartz/Echols
expeditions. While the US military scouted fort
locations and searched this area for better supply
routes to the US/Mexican border, the present day treks
combine desert scenery, history and ecology with the
colorful part the Camel Corps played in settling the

Monahans Sandhills
Treks An overnight, Camel assisted walking trek in Monahans Sandhills State Park focusing on flora/fauna, history and prehistory. Camels carry all your gear and you will learn to load, unload and work the camels as you move through the dunes. Guests must be able to hike between 3 and 5 miles per day in sand dunes. Visually, Monahans Sandhills State Park appears to be a slice of the Sahara, taken out and placed in the West Texas desert. The awesome image of limitless sand dunes will transport you to another time and place. Simple, one-pot meals are standard fare and all gear and equipment is packed on the camels. This is as close to a true Saharan experience as you can get without going there. Sleeping arrangements are basic, portable tents or simply out on the dunes if you like. This is truly roughing it, so make sure you know your own limits! Total cost per person- $400 for overnight trek. Kids 14 and under half price. All meals, guides and State Park fees are included. |

Sinai Camel Treks This adventure takes place in the Sinai Desert of Egypt with 4 days on camelback and 3 days of guided tours in and around Cairo/Giza and climbing Mt. Sinai. Climb Mt. Sinai and explore the Monastery of St. Katherine then take two days to enjoy guided tours of the Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum where King Tut's treasures are kept, the Al Azhar mosque and the Khan el Khalili market. *All transfers, 4-star accommodations

Glacier Bay Alaska Tours |

Enjoy luxury log cabin style accommodations nestled
in the heart of Glacier Bay Alaska, specifically in Gustavus. The
Bear Track Inn is constructed of 275 hand crafted spruce logs. The
inn offers 14 guest rooms all with two queen beds, full bath, down
comforters and pillow and thick bath sheets. The lobby offers
inspiring views of mountains, forest, meadows and of Icy Straight. Bask in front of a walk around fireplace or curl up in overstuffed
suede couches.
All meals are included as are adventure tours that you select to customize your own package. Each trip includes transportation from Juneau to the inn and all transportation to and from your adventures. Meals include a choice of locally brewed beer or an extensive wine list to compliment dinner.
